§457G-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter unless the context otherwise requires: "Department" means the department of commerce and consumer affairs. "Director" means the director of commerce and consumer affairs. "Foreign-trained person" means a person who has completed an educational program or course of study in occupational therapy in an institution located outside the United States. "Occupational therapist" means a person who engages in the practice of occupational therapy in this State. "Occupational therapy assistant" means a person who engages in the practice of occupational therapy under the supervision of and in partnership with an occupational therapist.
