PART V. FEDERAL AND MILITARY PRISONERS, CUSTODY OF §353-101 Authorization to director of corrections and rehabilitation or the appropriate officer and the governor. The director of corrections and rehabilitation, or the appropriate officer with the approval of the governor, is authorized for the State to enter into contracts with the director of the Bureau of Prisons or the appropriate officers of the United States for the imprisonment, subsistence, care, and proper employment of federal and military prisoners. The director of corrections and rehabilitation or the appropriate officer shall be vested with such functions, powers, and duties which are necessary to carry out the foregoing purpose.
