§329-44 Notice of conviction to be sent to licensing board, department of commerce and consumer affairs. On the conviction of any physician, osteopathic physician and surgeon, dentist, podiatrist, veterinarian, practitioner, apothecary, manufacturer, wholesaler, or producer, of the wilful violation of this chapter, a copy of the sentence and of the opinion of the court or district judge, if any is filed, shall be sent by the clerk of the court, or by the judge, to the board or officer, if any, by whom the convicted defendant has been licensed to practice the convicted defendant's profession or to carry on the convicted defendant's business; and if the convicted defendant is a physician or osteopathic physician and surgeon, a copy of the sentence and of the opinion, if any, shall be sent to the department of commerce and consumer affairs.
