§3-1 Commission. There shall be established a commission to promote uniform legislation, placed within the department of the attorney general for administrative purposes, to promote uniformity of legislation in the United States, to be composed of five commissioners, who shall be appointed by the governor in the manner prescribed in section 26-34. The commissioners shall serve without pay but shall be entitled to such technical, clerical, and stenographic assistance, to be furnished by the department of the attorney general, as may be necessary or proper to carry out their duties.
