[§124B-167] Forgery. Any person subject to this chapter who, with intent to defraud: (1) Falsely makes or alters any signature to, or any part of, any writing that would, if genuine, impose a legal liability on another or change the person's legal right or liability to the person's prejudice; or (2) Utters, offers, issues, or transfers the writing, known by the person to be falsely made or altered, shall be guilty of forgery and shall be punished as directed by a court-martial.
