The General Assembly finds that the practice of applied behavior analysis in Georgia is hereby declared to affect the public health, safety, and welfare of citizens of Georgia and should be subject to regulation to protect the public from: (i) the practice of applied behavior analysis by unqualified persons; and (ii) unprofessional, unethical, and harmful conduct by behavior analysis practitioners. Added by 2022 Ga. Laws 811,§ 1, eff. 7/1/2023.
