Any person or corporation acting as an auctioneer within the meaning of this chapter without a license and any person who violates this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000.00, by imprisonment for a term not to exceed 90 days, or both. Amended by 2014 Ga. Laws 535,§ 12, eff. 7/1/2014.
