(a) A person whose application for a license has been refused or whose license has been canceled, revoked, or suspended by the board may take an appeal, within 30 days after the order is entered, to any court of competent jurisdiction. (b) A case reviewed under this Code section shall proceed in the superior court by trial de novo. Appeal from the judgment of the superior court lies as in other civil cases.
