Interpretation; renewal of policy

(a) A stop-loss or specific excess and aggregate contract issued under this chapter shall not be construed or interpreted as an accident and sickness insurance policy. (b) No stop-loss or specific excess and aggregate policy may be cancelled or nonrenewed because of the level of health care claims. Added by 2003 Ga. Laws 396, § 1, eff. 7/1/2003.
