Florida Code § 944.36

Permitting inmates to escape

Any agent, employee, or officer of the department having supervision over state inmates being worked under the provisions of law who willfully permits any prisoner to escape shall be guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
