Selling trees, plants, or vines under false name

All trees, plants, seeds, and vines sold, offered for sale, or exposed for sale in this state shall be properly named as to variety and kind, and any person knowingly selling, trading, exchanging, or offering or exposing for sale any trees, seeds, plants, or vines falsely named as to variety and kind, with the purpose to deceive or defraud the purchaser, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.083.
