(1) Any person or organization that has not been awarded a grant must meet all of the following conditions to be eligible to receive a grant: (a) The applicant must meet or directly employ staff that meet the minimum qualifications for a public guardian under this chapter. (b) The applicant must have already been appointed by, or is pending appointment by, the Office of Public and Professional Guardians to become an office of public guardian in this state. (2) Any person or organization that has been awarded a grant must meet all of the following conditions to be eligible to receive another grant: (a) The applicant must meet or directly employ staff that meet the minimum qualifications for a public guardian under this chapter. (b) The applicant must have been appointed by, or is pending reappointment by, the Office of Public and Professional Guardians to be an office of public guardian in this state. (c) The applicant must have achieved a satisfactory monitoring score during the applicant’s most recent evaluation.
