The public guardian, subject to the oversight of the Office of Public and Professional Guardians, is authorized to: (1) Formulate and adopt necessary procedures to assure the efficient conduct of the affairs of the ward and general administration of the office and staff. (2) Contract for services necessary to discharge the duties of the office. (3) Accept the services of volunteer persons or organizations and provide reimbursement for proper and necessary expenses.
