(1) Sections 711.50-711.512 shall be liberally construed and applied to promote their underlying purposes and policy and to make uniform the laws with respect to the subject of these sections among states enacting them. (2) Unless displaced by the particular provisions of ss. 711.50-711.512, the principles of law and equity supplement the provisions of these sections.
