(1) The first Sunday after Labor Day of each year is designated “Grandparents’ and Family Caregivers’ Day.” (2) The Governor may issue annually a proclamation designating the first Sunday after Labor Day as Grandparents’ and Family Caregivers’ Day and calling upon public schools and citizens of the state to observe the occasion.
