Relation to chapter 679 and consumer laws

(1) If there is conflict between this part and chapter 679, chapter 679 governs. (2) A transaction subject to this part is subject to any applicable rule of law that establishes a different rule for consumers; any other law or regulation that regulates the rates, charges, agreements, and practices for loans, credit sales, or other extensions of credit; and chapter 501.
