Florida Code § 655.41

As used in ss. 655.41-655.419, the term: (1) “Financial entity” means a financial institution whose principal office is in this state. (2) “Capital stock financial institution” means a financial institution that is authorized to issue capital stock. (3) “Mutual financial institution” means a financial institution that is not authorized to issue stock and the assets of which are owned by its members.
