(1) An application for designation as a bail bond agent in charge must be submitted on forms prescribed by the department. The application must include the applicant’s full name and the applicant’s license number issued pursuant to s. 648.27. (2) To qualify as a bail bond agent in charge, it must affirmatively appear that, at the time of application and throughout the period of licensure, the applicant has complied with s. 648.285 and that the applicant has been licensed as a bail bond agent for the 24 months immediately preceding the appointment as the bail bond agent in charge.
