(1)(a) The division shall by rule prescribe curricula and standards for advanced and specialized training courses and education in addition to those prescribed in ss. 633.408 and 633.412. (b) The standards provided by this section do not bind any fire service provider as to the requirements it may have for promoting personnel. (2) A fire service provider participating under this section shall adhere to the standards and procedures established by the division.
