Nonforfeiture benefits, cash surrender values, certificate loans, and other options

(1) For certificates issued prior to October 1, 1982, the value of every paid-up nonforfeiture benefit and the amount of any cash surrender value, loan, or other option granted shall comply with the provisions of law applicable immediately prior thereto. (2) For certificates issued on or after October 1, 1982, reserves shall be computed utilizing the appropriate mortality tables approved by the office for policies containing life insurance benefits made applicable to life insurers under s. 625.121.
