(1) Though issued to a licensee, all licenses issued under this chapter are at all times the property of the State of Florida; and, upon notice of any suspension, revocation, refusal to renew, failure to renew, expiration, or other termination of the license, such license shall no longer be in force and effect. (2) This section shall not be deemed to require the surrender to the department of any license unless such surrender has been requested by the department.
