(1) Prior to being permitted to take an examination, each applicant who is subject to examination shall pay to the department or a person designated by the department an examination fee. A separate and additional examination fee shall be payable for each separate class of license applied for, notwithstanding that all such examinations are taken on the same date and at the same place. (2) The fee for examination shall not be subject to refund.
