Florida Code § 624.5015

Advance collection of fees and taxes; title insurers not to pay without reimbursement

(1) The department or the office shall collect in advance from the applicant or licensee fees and taxes as provided in s. 624.501. (2) A title insurer shall not pay directly or indirectly without reimbursement from a title insurance agent any appointment fee required under this section. The failure of a title insurance agent to make reimbursement is not a ground for cancellation of the title insurance agent’s appointment by the title insurer.
