(1) A person who violates this chapter or any rule of the department shall be subject to the imposition of an administrative fine in the Class III category pursuant to s. 570.971 for each offense. Upon repeated violation, the department may seek enforcement pursuant to s. 120.69. (2) Unless otherwise provided, any person violating the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.
