Funding of the Child Labor Law program

(1) Child Labor Law program appropriations made by the Legislature shall be used to carry out the proper responsibilities of administering the Child Labor Law, to protect the working youth of the state, and to provide education about the Child Labor Law to employers, public school employees, the general public, and working youth. (2) Moneys for the administration of the child labor program shall be transferred to the Professional Regulation Trust Fund from the Workers’ Compensation Administration Trust Fund of the Department of Financial Services pursuant to nonoperating transfers.
