Superseded laws, regulations, and certification power

(1) If any provision of this act is in conflict with any other provision, limitation, or restriction under any law, rule, regulation, or ordinance of this state or any political subdivision, municipality, or agency, this act shall control and such law, rule, regulation, or ordinance shall be deemed superseded for the purposes of this act. (2) The state hereby preempts the certification of transmission lines and transmission line corridors. (3) The board shall have the power to adopt reasonable procedural rules to carry out its duties under this act and to give effect to the legislative intent that this act provide an efficient, centrally coordinated, one-stop licensing process.
