Litter receptacles

(1) DEFINITIONS. — As used in this section “litter” and “vessel” have the same meanings as provided in s. 403.413. (2) RECEPTACLES REQUIRED. — All ports, terminal facilities, boatyards, marinas, and other commercial facilities which house vessels and from which vessels disembark shall provide or ensure the availability of litter receptacles of sufficient size and capacity to accommodate the litter and other waste materials generated on board the vessels using its facilities, except for large quantities of spoiled or damaged cargoes not usually discharged by a ship. The department may enforce violations of this section pursuant to ss. 403.121 and 403.131.
