Florida Code § 388.241

Board of county commissioners vested with powers and duties of board of commissioners in certain counties

In those counties or municipalities where there has been no formation of a separate or special board of commissioners, all the rights, powers, and duties of a board of commissioners as conferred in this chapter shall be vested in the board of county commissioners or similar governing body of said county or municipality.
