(1) St. Michael’s Cemetery in Pensacola is designated and declared to be a state park. (2) The Division of Recreation and Parks of the Department of Environmental Protection shall manage and operate the said cemetery. However, this section shall not be construed to prevent, and no rule and regulation shall be made which will prevent, the continued interment of bodies in the cemetery lots which are privately owned.
