Solicitation of state employees prohibited

An organization, entity, or person may not intentionally solicit a state employee through any means for fundraising or business purposes within work areas during work hours. This section does not prohibit: (1) State-approved communications by entities with whom the state has contracted to provide employee benefits or services. (2) Noncoercive voluntary communications between state employees in workplace areas. (3) Activities at authorized public events occurring in nonwork areas of state owned or leased facilities.
