(1) To be appointed as a delegate or an alternate delegate, a person must receive, in each chamber, the vote of a majority of all the members elected to that chamber. (2) At the time of appointment, each alternate delegate must be paired with a delegate as provided by a concurrent resolution adopted by the Legislature.
