(1) The Office of Legislative Services, designated as such by joint rule of the Legislature or by agreement between the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, shall provide support services that are determined by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives to be necessary and that can be effectively and efficiently provided jointly to both houses. (2) The joint committees and other joint units of the Legislature shall be governed by joint rules of the Senate and House of Representatives. (3) The Office of Legislative Services shall deliver such vouchers covering legislative expenses as required to the Chief Financial Officer and, if found to be correct, state warrants shall be issued therefor.
