A record of each divorce and annulment granted by the Court shall be filed with the Registrar and shall be registered if it has been completed and filed in accordance with this section. The record shall be prepared by the plaintiff or his or her legal representative and shall be presented to the Clerk of the Court with the complaint for divorce or annulment in accordance with the Rules of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. The Court shall complete and forward to the Registrar on or before the 20th day of each calendar month the records of each divorce or annulment decree granted during the preceding calendar month. The social security number of each individual who is subject to the divorce or annulment decree shall be included in the records of the Superior Court and Registrar concerning the divorce or annulment.
