The Planning Board shall perform the following functions: (1) Consult with the general manager concerning the performance of such of the functions of the Department as either the Board or the general manager shall deem appropriate. To this end, the general manager shall keep the Board informed concerning the work of the Department and shall, at the request of the Board, furnish it such information as it may reasonably require in the performance of this function. (2) Review the proposed comprehensive development plan, proposed zoning plan changes, proposed subdivision regulations, and all amendments thereto, and upon completion of its consideration of any of these, the Board shall recommend to the County Council such action as the Board shall deem appropriate.
