"Appropriate authority"; Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families [Effective

As used in paragraph (a) of Article V of this Compact, the phrase "appropriate authority in the receiving state" shall, with reference to
this State, mean the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families.
