(a) The Riverfront Development Corporation is created by 70 Del. Laws, c. 210. (b) The Riverfront Development Corporation's purpose is to promote the common good of the citizens of this State through the planning, development, and management of programs and projects intended to foster, encourage, and promote recreational, residential, commercial, and industrial development and redevelopment along or in proximity to the Brandywine and Christina Rivers, as recommended in the report of the Governor's Task Force on the Future of the Brandywine and Christina Rivers, "A Vision for the Rivers" (1994).
