Application and license fees

(a) Any person, upon applying to the Commission for a license to conduct a horse racing meet pursuant to this chapter during any
calendar year, shall, at the time of making the application, pay to the Secretary of the Department of Finance a fee of $500.
(b) Any person who is granted a license by the Commission to conduct a horse racing meet pursuant to this chapter during any calendar

year shall, at the time the license is granted, pay to the Secretary of the Department of Finance an additional fee of $250.
