Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prevent the performance of service and repair of any elevator in any structure by individuals working in a manufacturing or industrial facility, who are all of the following: (1) Recognized by their company as a person responsible for repairs, maintenance, or service. (2) [Repealed.] (3) Working under the supervision of an elevator mechanic or a master electrician with a special elevator license.
