(a) The Chair of the Board shall be the Superintendent. (b) The Board shall hold regularly scheduled meetings at least 4 times in a calendar year, at other times the Chair considers necessary, or at the request of a majority of the Board. (c) The Director shall designate an Executive Secretary who will be responsible for the performance of the regular administrative functions of the Board and other duties the Board may direct. (d) A majority of the members of the Board constitutes a quorum for the purpose of transacting business; however, no disciplinary action may be taken without the affirmative vote of at least 5 members. (e) The Board shall prepare information of interest to consumers or recipients of services regulated, under this chapter, describing the Board's procedures by which complaints are filed with and resolved by the Board. The Board shall make the information available to the general public and appropriate state agencies.
