(a) At any time, an individual may rescind a request for medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner without regard to the individual's mental state. (b) An attending physician or attending APRN may not write a prescription for medication to end life in a humane and dignified manner under this chapter unless the attending physician or attending APRN has offered the individual an opportunity to rescind the request.
