(a) The electors chosen or appointed in this State for the election of a President and Vice President of the United States shall meet and give their votes at Dover on the day determined by Congress for that purpose. (b) In all cases, an elector chosen or appointed in this State for the election of a President and Vice President of the United States under this chapter shall cast the elector's vote for the presidential and vice presidential nominees, or their legal successors, of the political party or unaffiliated presidential candidate that nominated the elector.
