Support of free public schools

The free public schools of the State shall be maintained and supported by such moneys as shall be appropriated from time to time
by the General Assembly, local school tax revenues generated and payments received in accordance with this title, payments received
in accordance with Chapters 4, 5 and 6 of this title, and appropriated and nonappropriated special funds otherwise authorized or legally
acquired. Funds appropriated or otherwise allocated to the Department of Education on behalf of the public schools of this State shall be
administered by the Department in accordance with this title or other applicable state or federal laws and regulations.
