Delaware Code § 14-1301

As used in this chapter:
(1) "District" means a reorganized school district, or the school district of the City of Wilmington.
(2) "Preparation," "no degree," "bachelor's degree," "bachelor's degree plus 30 graduate credits," "master's degree," "master's
degree plus 30 graduate credits," "doctor's degree," "doctor's degree or equivalent," "supervisor," "administrative assistant," "director,"
"assistant superintendent," "chief school officer," "principal," and any other classification shall have meaning as defined by the
certifying board unless provided otherwise in this chapter.
(3) In interpreting the salary, the salary schedule set forth in § 1305(a) of this title, in the case of trades and industry teachers,
"bachelor's degree" means 2 years of college or technical training, plus 6 years of trade experience; "bachelor's degree plus 15 graduate
credits" means 21/ years of college or technical training, plus 6 years of trade experience; "bachelor's degree plus 30 graduate credits"

means 3 years of college or technical training, plus 6 years of trade experience; "master's degree" means a bachelor's degree, plus 6
years of trade experience or a bachelor's degree, plus 30 graduate credits, plus 4 years of trade experience; "master's degree plus 15
graduate credits," "master's degree plus 30 graduate credits," "master's degree plus 45 graduate credits" and "doctor's degree" shall
have meaning as defined in paragraph (2) of this section.
