(a) Each school board shall hold an annual meeting at its office in July of each year. (b) At each annual meeting the school board shall elect 1 of its members as president and another of its members as vice-president, who, in the absence or disability of the president, shall act in the president's stead. (c) At each annual meeting, the school board shall designate the chief school officer or superintendent as the executive secretary of the school board.
