In every case of murder and of manslaughter, if a person is poisoned or wounded in 1 county and dies thereof in another county,
prosecution shall be had in the county wherein such person was poisoned or wounded. Whenever the cause producing the death of a
person happens in a county and the death out of it, the offense shall be deemed complete in the county wherein the cause happens and
shall there be inquired of, heard and determined.
