The prothonotary may approve the surety and take the recognizance directed by the order issued under § 7352 of this title. The recognizance shall be joint and several. (Code 1852, § 2720; Code 1915, § 4640; Code 1935, § 5098; 10 Del. C. 1953, § 7353.)
