For the purposes of this section and sections 49-6c and 49-6d : (1) “Person” includes individuals, partnerships, associations, limited liability companies and corporations; (2) “Creditor” means any person or the assignee of any person who in the ordinary course of business extends credit to a consumer debtor residing in this state; (3) “Consumer debtor” means any natural person to whom credit for personal, family or household purposes has been extended; (4) The adjective “consumer” characterizes the transaction as one in which the party to whom credit is offered or extended is a natural person, and the money, property or services which are the subject of the transaction are primarily for personal, family, or household use.
