(a)(1) Wherever the term “Department of Public Safety” is used in the following general statutes, the term “Department of Consumer Protection” shall be substituted in lieu thereof; and (2) wherever the term “Commissioner of Public Safety” is used in the following general statutes, the term “Commissioner of Consumer Protection” shall be substituted in lieu thereof: 29-133 , 29-134 , 29-136 and 29-136a . (b) The Legislative Commissioners' Office shall, in codifying the provisions of this section, make such technical, grammatical and punctuation changes as are necessary to carry out the purposes of this section.
