(a) The provisions of subdivisions (1), (2), (3), (4) and (8) of subsection (b) of section 14-267a shall not apply to any motor bus, as defined in section 14-1 , if such motor bus complies with the weight limits specified in 23 CFR 658.17. (b) A person who violates any provision of subsection (a) of this section shall be subject to the penalties set forth in subsection (f) of section 14-267a .
