Natural medicine testing facility license - rules

(1) (a) A natural medicine
testing facility license may be issued to a person who performs testing and research on natural
medicine and natural medicine product.
(b) The testing of natural medicine and natural medicine product, and the associated
standards, is a matter of statewide concern.
(2) The state licensing authority shall promulgate rules related to acceptable testing and
research practices, including but not limited to testing, standards, quality control analysis,
equipment certification and calibration, identification of chemicals and other substances used in
bona fide research methods, and whether to allow a natural person to request and utilize testing
services of natural medicine and natural medicine product if the natural person is twenty-one
years of age or older.
(3) A person who has an interest in a natural medicine testing facility license shall not
have any interest in a licensed natural medicine healing center, a licensed natural medicine
cultivation facility, a licensed natural medicine product manufacturer, or a natural medicine
license issued by the state licensing authority pursuant to this article 50 or rules promulgated
pursuant to this article 50.
